Frères de nos Frères or "FdnF" is a non governmental Swiss organization which is apolitical and non-denominational. Founded in 1965, its first project was to sponsor emergency aid to relieve famine in India. FdnF’s objectives have evolved over the years. The motto :”It is better to teach people how to fish than to give them food” is a guideline for today’s projects.

FdnF targets the disfavoured populations of Asia, Africa and Latin America and works for their empowerment through projects in areas such as irrigation, agriculture, health, education, professional training, employment and micro-credits.
