This programme has helped a group of dairy farmers to develop better breeding conditions for their cattle and to increase their production, both in quantity and quality. The increased, regular production of milk has enabled the group to set up a commercial dairy. Besides the focus on hygiene and management of the dairy, new products such as yoghurt have been successfully put up for sale. Another facet of this project is to assist the dairy farmers in forming professional associations.
