The school does not have water supply.  Drinking water is supplied by pupils who in turn fill barrels at the collective public fountain, already saturated by the women.  The project will therefore extend the water pipes from the village well , to reach the school grounds and build a water fountain for the children and their teachers.

Suitable latrines are also necessary to provide a healthy environment for the children.  It is necessary to build one block of 3 latrines at least, to avoid over crowding which would then encourage children to relieve themselves in the waste grounds close to the establishment
